Event Description:
CANHelp is hosting a poverty simulation from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16th at the ROC, located at 115 Putnam Street in Sulphur Springs. The Community Action Poverty Simulation provides participants with the opportunity to assume the role of a low-income family member living on a limited budget. It is divided into four 15-minute sessions, each of which represents one week in which you must provide for your family and maintain your home. Lunch is provided, but space is limited.
